Artist’s Statement
As an artist, I point out the potential of often overlooked moments in every day life. In my gouache and ink works on paper, detailed depictions of every day things intersect on a plane of vastness and solitude. The artwork can be read as a diagram for interpreting our world in unconventional ways. Like in chemistry, the combination of static elements yield a new, unexpected experience.
